I’ve had the luxury of traveling to New York City twice this fall. It is most certainly one of my favorite cities in the world, next to Berlin and you guessed it, San Francisco. And now, New York just got even better.

Muji, the infamous Japanese retail company is opening a flagship store on Broadway between Grand and Howard. Joe traveled to Japan a few years back and was really impressed with their goods. They sell anything from toothbrushes, to furniture, to clothing – sort of like a Japanese version of Ikea but better. Muji is distinguished by their focus on minimalist design, avoidance of waste and packaging, as well as a non-logo policy.

The store opens at noon, this Friday, November 16th.

Make us jealous and go:
