He’s known for his cooking but this internet-famous chef can also build. You might recall last fall when Brett Mackie of Cooking with the Pan flew out to SF from Chicago to help as Joe’s trusty assistant. He also grilled up some of our figs. Three days into his trip and moments before he had to leave for the airport this desk was completed (minus a few coats of polyurethane). Joe and I shared the desk for a couple months until I finally kicked him out to the front room (sorry, babe). The Pan did a great job putting this together (even if his math was off a bit here and there). It was inexpensive to build and it looks great.
